VISA
Once you get Letter of Acceptance from Universitas Jambi, you have to follow the procedures of applying Study Permit and Telex Visa or VITAS consecutively.
In order to save the time of processing, International Office highly suggests perspective students to prepare the following documents before they get Letter of Acceptance.
- Health Certificate
- Vaccine Certificate
- Health Insurance that has minimum 1 year of valid time and can cover all of your health related costs in Indonesia.
- Recommendation Letter for Good Behavior/ Certificate of Free From Criminal Offences Issued by relevant Local Authority or Police Station
- Statement Letter for Health Protocol (will be provided the format by IO later)
- Statement Of Non Involment in Employment And Political Activity
After that, you are eligible to enter officially to the territory of Indonesia as a student. After your arrival at Jambi, your document processes will be finalized with E-ITAS and SKTT.
Study Permit: The permission for foreign students who will study at UNJA and this will be issued by The Ministry of Education, Indonesia. Based on the number of applicants, approximate working time is from 2 to 6 weeks.
Telex Visa: Visa Recommendation to be stamped at Embassy RI/Consulate General RI in your country of residence after the issuance by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Directorate General of Immigration, Indonesia.
VITAS (Visa Tinggal Terbatas): Limited Stay Visa that may be allowed from 6 months to, at most, 2 years.
E-ITAS (Ijin Tinggal Terbatas online): Electronic Limited Stay Permit for those who use VITAS and this E-ITAS will be proceeded by the Immigration Office in Jambi and should be processed within 30 days after your arrival.
SKTT (Surat Keterangan Tempat Tinggal): Temporary Residential Card that will be issued by the Government of Jambi.
